Day 1: Departure from US – Your Voyage Awaits

Day 2: Athens & Nafplio – Welcome to Greece
Fly into Athens and transfer to Nafplio, your base for the Peloponnesian Peninsula. Nafplio was the first capital of modern Greece. Depending on arrival time, take a walking tour of Napflio's charming old town, exploring Syntagma Square and winding alleys before a restful night's sleep. Overnight: Nafplio (D)

Day 3: Mycenae & Epidaurus – Delve into the Rich Culture of the Peloponnese
Travel back in time to the origins of ancient Greece, the Peloponnese. Visit the outdoor archeological site of Mycenae, home to King Agamemnon who was the leader of the Greeks during the Trojan War. There you will discover ancient tombs and the iconic Lion Gate. Continue to Epidaurus, where the magnificent ancient theater and Sanctuary of Asclepius showcase the region’s cultural heritage and give insight into the biblical worldview. Day 4: Olympia & Sparta – Run like an Olympian
Start your adventure in Ancient Sparta, exploring the ancient museum and evocative ruins of this legendary warrior city. Wander through temples and theaters, imagining the lives of the fierce Spartans. Then drive to Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Marvel at the grand Temple of Zeus, the original Olympic stadium, and the ancient gymnasium. Explore the Archaeological Museum, home to stunning statues and artifacts. Conclude your day by running a lap on the ancient track, channeling the spirit of the original Olympians. Overnight: Nafplio (B, D)

Day 5: Corinth and Cenchrea – Walk in Biblical History
Take a relaxing drive to Corinth, stopping briefly at the Corinth Canal. At Corinth, go back in time to the place where the apostle Paul lived, preached, and wrote several biblical letters. Briefly stop by Cenchrea, the port of Corinth, where Paul entered the city, and walk through the ruins there. Drive to Athens in the evening, which will be your base for the rest of the trip. Day 6: Aegina Island – Enjoy Island Life for a Day
Take a ferry ride to the beautiful Greek island of Aegina. Visit Nektarios Greek Orthodox Monastery and explore the Temple of Afea, which dates back more than 2,500 years ago. Be sure to sample the world’s best pistachios at the site. Stroll around the local village of Aegina before catching an afternoon ferry back to mainland Greece. At night back in Athens, spend time buying souvenirs or enjoying some down time at a café sipping coffee and eating baklava. Overnight: Athens (B, D)

Day 7: Athens – Visit the Capital’s Greatest Sites: Mars Hill, Acropolis, and Ancient Agora
Begin your day atop Mars Hill, where the apostle Paul preached one of his most famous sermons. Visit the Acropolis for breathtaking views of Greece’s greatest city. View the Parthenon, the world’s most iconic Greek temple, and stroll past the other important sites on the Acropolis such as the theater and other temples. Then visit the Greek agora, where the greatest teachers of all time—Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle—taught their students and disseminated some of the most influential ideas in history. Day 8: Athens – Enjoy a Free Day (No Bus, No Guide)
Take a free day in one of Europe’s best cities! You could visit Socrates’ grave, Aristotle’s academy, shop, go on a scavenger hunt, visit museums, or do dozens of other wonderful things. Overnight: Athens (B, D)

Day 9: Departure to US – Return Home
Bid adieu to your wonderful excursion with a departure from Athens Airport.
