Archaeological excavations have officially begun this year at the ancient city of Colossae, located in the Honaz district of Denizli, Türkiye. The long-anticipated project has generated significant excitement in the archaeological community.
To support the precision and accuracy of the excavation process, Tutku Educational Travel has donated a GNSS CORS (Global Navigation Satellite System – Continuously Operating Reference Station) device to the excavation team. This advanced positioning technology will allow archaeologists to carry out millimeter-accurate measurements and create detailed digital mappings of the site.
