Price: At present, the tour is priced at $2,195 for 12-14 travellers. However, as more people join, the cost per person will decrease. For instance, if the group size increases, the price may drop to $1,995 for 17-20 travelers, or $2,075 for 15-16 participants. Please note that in some cases, triple occupancy may be necessary. Rest assured, our goal is to ensure fair pricing and an enjoyable experience for all.
Day 1: Wed, April 16: Rome – Begin Your Tour
Arrive in Rome and transfer to hotel. At a designated time, we will begin a walking tour of some of the highlights of North Rome: Piazza del Populo, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. Overnight: Rome. (D)
Day 2: Thurs, April 17: The Vatican - Tour the Greatest Church and Museum on Earth
St. Peter’s Basilica is the largest church on the planet and the center of the Catholic Church. It’s the size of a small city, with its most important relic lying deep beneath the altar. Visit Vatican’s St. Peter’s Square, the Basilica, Vatica museums, the city, and, of course, walk through the Sistin Chapel. Overnight: Rome. (B, D)
Day 3: Fri, April 18: Ostia Antica, St. Paul's Outside the Walls, and Lateran – Visit Rome's Port and St. Paul
Start the morning with a visit to one of the best-preserved archaeological sites outside Rome: Ostia Antica. This incredible site offers a wonderful place to consider how Christians in the Bible lived their daily lives. Visit St. Paul’s Outside the Walls, which houses the remains of St. Paul, as well as St. John Lateran, the headquarters of the Catholic Church. Overnight: Rome. (B, D)
Day 4: Sat, April 19: Rome Underground: Explore the Catacombs, the Palace of Nero, and Monk Crypts
Start your day by trekking underground in the Catacombs, the place where early Christians buried their dead. Then, visit Rome's most eerily interesting museum: a living cemetery of monks whose bodies are converted into furniture. Step back in time by entering into the palace of the emperor who killed Christianity’s most influential apostles: Peter and Paul. Overnight: Rome. (B, D)
Day 5: Sun, April 20: Forum, Prison, Colosseum, Palatine – Walk through the Classic Sites of Rome
Imagine what Roman life was like by exploring the Roman forum, the place where everything happened and where Caesar, Cicero, and Augustus worked. Pass by the Arch of Titus and visit the Mamertine Prison, the place of Peter and Paul’s imprisonment. In addition, imagine yourself to be a gladiator or spectator at the timeless symbol of Rome: the Colosseum. Overnight: Rome. (B, D)
Day 6: Mon, April 21: Departure – Return Home
Say ciao to your wonderful excursion and begin the journey back home from Rome's Airport. (B)
