Sep 5 Sun Arrive Athens Airport (ideally before noon). Olympieion (Temple of Zeus), Roman Forum, and Library of Hadrian. Dinner at hotel. Overnight in Athens.

Sep 6 Mon Athens: Acropolis, Old Agora, Acropolis Museum. Overnight in Athens.

Sep 7 Tue Corinth: Site and Museum; Acrocorinth; Cenchreae (possibly Isthmia). Overnight in Athens. (Note: I’m planning on lunch in the little downtown area right beside the archaeological site of Corinth.)

Sep 8 Wed AM flight from Athens to Thessaloniki. Pella (site and museum); Royal Tombs at Aigai; Palace of Aigai; Polycentric Museum of Aigai; Archaeological Museum of Veria. Overnight in Thessaloniki.

Sep 9 Thu Thessaloniki: Roman Forum; Arch and Palace of Galerius; Archaeological Museum. Overnight in Thessaloniki.

Sep 10 Fri Amphipolis: Archaeological Site, Museum [Thessaloniki to Amphipolis: 1.25; Amphipolis to Kavala: 1 hr] Kavala: Harbor, Via Egnatia (500 feet east of General Hospital of Kavala). Overnight in Kavala.

Sep 11 Sat Philippi: Archaeological Site and Museum. Overnight in Kavala.

Sep 12 Sun AM flight from Kavala to Athens. Sounion (Temple of Poseidon), Eleusis, National Archaeological Museum. Overnight in Athens airport hotel.

Sep 13 Mon Depart for USA.
