Mar 7 Fri Departure on your own.

Mar 8 Sat Arrival in ROME /transfer to hotel
Arrie Rome Airport. Meet the agent holding a sign ‘’MYERSTUTKU’’ sign. Transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, based on arrival time. Overnight in Rome.

Mar 9 Sun ROME
Breakfast at our hotel. Meet our guide at the lobby, and start a full day walking tour of Ancient Rome. During the day we will visit the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, Arch of Titus, the Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum and the Trajan’s Column. Later in the afternoon, we’ll visit the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navona. This full day tour ends with the visit of the Museum of Ara Pacis. Transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Rome (B).

Mar 10 Mon VATICAN
Breakfast. Meet our guide and walk to the Vatican City. Visit the world famous Vatican Museums, included the Sistine Chapel, followed by the St. Peter’s basilica. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the basilica of St. Paul outside the Walls and the Abbey of Three Fountains. Transfer back to our hotel. Dinner and overnight in Rome. (B)

Mar 11 Tue ROME - POMPEII - NAPLES
Breakfast. Transfer to Pompeii (approx 3+ hours). Time for lunch*. Meet the local guide and visit one of two cities that were destroyed when the volcano Vesuvius erupted in A.D. 79. Pompeii—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will explore the site, walking along the ancient streets where you can see baths, forums and villas along with fabulously preserved frescoes which adorned their walls. Transfer to Naples. Dinner and overnight in Naples. (B,L) *I suggested an organized set lunch in a typical Napolitan pizzeria with the supplement cost included.

Mar 12 Wed NAPLES - CAPRI - NAPLES
After breakfast, transfer to the port of Naples. Take a ferry to Capri. Move by funicular to the Piazzetta and from there, start a walking tour of the spectacular island, including Gardens of Augustus. Free time for lunch, shopping and individual explorations. Back to the port of Capri. Ferry to Naples. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Naples. (B) *Optional: Boat tour around the island. You’ll see Punta del Capo with the Scugnizzo Statue, Tiberius’ Leap, the White Grotto, Villa Malaparte, the Natural Arch, the Faraglioni, Marina Piccola, the Green Grotto, the Punta Carena Lighthouse. Stop to the Blue Grotto is not included. ADD €38 per person.

Mar 13 Thur NAPLES - FLORENCE
After breakfast, take the fast train from Naples to Florence (approx. 3 hours). Leave your luggage at hotel and have free time for lunch. Half day guided tour in the afternoon. The guide introduces you to Florence’s Renaissance treasures: the Piazza della Signoria, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry’s of Saint John bronze doors and the Gothic Duomo (outside*) the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. Dinner and overnight in Florence. (B) *The entrance to the Duomo is free, but the line is normally very long. It’s impossible to book the entrance in advance. People can visit it inside individually after the guided tour.

Mar 14 Fri FLORENCE
Breakfast. Enjoy a morning guided visit of the UFFIZI gallery. Free time for lunch. After lunch you will board your bus and drive (1.5hrs) through the scenic Tuscan countryside to reach Pisa. Enjoy a half day guided walking tour, included the Piazza dei Miracoli, Cathedral, Baptistry and the Leaning Tower (outside). Before return to Florence, stop at the Restaurant I Tre Pini, and enjoy regional cuisine at a special dinner with music entertainment. Transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Florence (B).

Mar 15 Sat FLORENCE - ASSISI - ROME
Breakfast and check-out. Drive (approx 2+hours) to Assisi. Guided visit of the Basilica of St. Francis and the city center. Free time for lunch and individual exploration. Proceed (3 hrs) towards Rome. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Isola Sacra, in Rome-Fiumicino. (B)

Mar 16 Sun Departure
After breakfast, check-out and transfer (10 min) from the hotel to the airport Fiumicino. (B)

Before coming to Gordon College, Dr. Jason Myers was Professor of Biblical Studies at Greensboro College in Greensboro, North Carolina where he taught courses in Old and New Testament. Jason received his Ph.D. in New Testament from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2015. His research interests include the social world of the New Testament, Romans and Galatians, and Rhetorical Criticism of the New Testament. 
His interest in the Apostle Paul has led to numerous presentations, and teaching in India, Nigeria, Estonia, Turkey, Italy, and England. He is the co-author of four books including Voices and Views on Paul (IVP, 2015) Paul of Arabia (Cascade, 2020), Rhetoric, History, and Theology (T&T Clark, 2022), and New Testament Rhetoric (Cascade, 2022), numerous academies articles, and his dissertation, Paul, The Apostle of Obedience: Reading Obedience in Romans was published with T&T Clark in 2023. He is also the co-editor of the Proclamation: Preaching the New Testament commentary series with Cascade Publishing and currently working on a commentary on Colossians and Philemon for that series. More recently, he published three articles in the landmark 2nd edition Dictionary of Paul and His Letters with Intervarsity Press. Jason is married to his wife Lisa and they have been married for 16 years and have two children, Augustine (4.5) and Phoebe (2.5).

Cancellations made before 60 days of departure: Full refund
Cancellations made within 45 days of departure: 90% refund
Cancellations made within 30 days of departure: 75% refund
Cancellations made within 15 days of departure: 50% refund
Cancellations made within 7 days of departure: 25% refund
Cancellations made within 6 days of departure: No refund

In addition to the above cancellation policy, we charge a 5% processing fee for all refunds, no matter the date of cancellation. This fee is
necessary to cover the costs associated with processing refunds, including bank fees and administrative expenses.
